I am an activist, musician, philosopher, artist, and writer from Melbourne, Australia, or at least dabble in all of these fields. This website exists because I thought it would be nice to collate my various creative efforts across these mediums and send it all out through cyberspace to God knows who.
The main elements of my life right now are climate activism with Melbourne’s Quit Coal because I’m deeply scared about what we are doing to our planet and its disadvantaged people, and music, because in my spare time I play with a band called Wildcat General Strike.
In 2009 I co-founded and participated inĀ Climate Justice Fast!: an international hunger strike with over 10,000 participants worldwide for responsible, just action on climate change in Copenhagen, during which I fasted for a total of 43 and a half days on only water and salt.
It’s been a lot of fun putting this site together, reading old poems and essays, seeing old drawings, and remembering the moments of intense compassion and love that have driven the activism I have been involved with.
I just hope that others find value in what is here.
